So last time I wrote anything I was in the process of working all the time, taking care of my daughter and trying to do online dating. For a while I became very depressed and slept a lot. I took care of my daughter and worked but I lacked any true life about me. I still cared about him and enjoyed being around him. He explained why he ended things with me and everything seemed to be working out. We both had agreed that we didn’t want to go back into a relationship at that moment and we would just spend time together and hang out when we could. Well it’s been several months since that day and we have basically stopped talking to each other. As a dear friend of mine stated, it seems that he only wants me when I’m with someone else; and I have to agree with her.
I have finally allowed myself to move on and away from him, which is for the best because if you truly love someone then you would want to be with them; you would have those feelings for them all the time. That just doesn’t seem to be the case with him and I’m okay with that. I am honestly happy with my life and happy to be alone. I have thought about trying online dating again but do I honestly want to put any effort into it? No, not really. I don’t want to make time for someone else. There is some things that I miss about dating; the emotional connection, sex, the butterfly feeling in your stomach when they say they missed you. But is that honestly worth all the hassle that comes along with being in a relationship? I don’t think it is.
